Message: I was very moved by your presentation today. While prior to today I had never met you or anyone effected, I had seen news reports about Eric's reduced sentence on the news. By far, your presentation at our safety stand-down was the most gut wrenching and heartfelt one I have ever seen, and what you (Mrs. Napier) and Eric are doing are definitely causing one to take pause and think. It was emotionally overwhelming to listen to the real life tale unfold and hear about all sides of the story and how detrimental the decision was to get behind the wheel, but even with that knowing that the impact on our emotions could never equal the impact on the families directly involved on that day... Thank you for sharing your story with us and know that this has impacted me through your words. Thank you for doing what you do.

Message: I'm sorry for your loss. Your presentation today in Jacksonville was very heart welming. I think it touched home to a lot of people. I think what your doing is phenomenal and I promise you that I will not be one of those drunk drivers and I am gonna pass on your message and hopefully Influence others because i dont think people realize the danger and hurt they cause just by leaving that parking spot under the influence. Thank you again. Take care.

Message: I was at the presentation today at NAS Pensacola...and wow...that was the most powerful DUI presentation I have ever seen since I have been in the Navy, and that is 16 years. I thank you very much. There is one photo that I keep on seeing on the scroll, and it reminds me of someone I used to go to high school with awhile back. Just wanted to say Thank You, and I Promise I will not drive under the influence.

Message: The message that Mrs. Napier and Eric gave at BHS was very heart-welming. It made me think about Zack right from the beginning. [R.I.P Zack] I know that the message was about drinking & driving and forgiveness. It was an amazing message & I know that it got through to a lot of the kids at our school. Although, drinking isn't the only thing that we shouldn't do while driving. I think that you guys should talk about other drugs that change your state of mind. Also, texting & driving is very dangerous. It takes a lot to forgive someone that caused as much pain to your family as Eric caused. But at the same time I realize that it takes a lot to own up to your mistakes like Eric did. You guys really are true inspirations. Thank you so much for coming to our school and sharing your stories.

Message: I live Calhoun County and just got the paper. I read the stories and it is very touching and now real close to my heart. I am 22 years old and I think what you are doing is amazing. If that message does not touch anyone, I do not know what will. May your journey of spreading the message hit many and may you be blessed on your journey where ever it may be.

Message: I was bought into tears today as we had a guest speaker at Newberry High School. for she showed and told the tragedy of what happen to not 2 but 3 people and also the many other friends and relatives that were affected by this! its such a scene that this one mistake that u can see in the depths of Eric's and Ms. Napier eyes was simply a mistake that is tragic it happened. im sad for the lost of not just Meagan & Lisa's lives but also Eric and others that were affected. i would just like to say that all day people talked about our assimbly that we had, about how we needed to start making changes on what we do. for i was seeing people including myself walk through the halls and say to one another "if you ever need me i will be there to come and get you, no matter what time of day, i will be there for you!" it was extremly hart warming to hear this made us all stop and think. i would also like to add that if it is possible we have all talked in our classes today that we would love for Eric Smallridge to be able to come himself and share his story. we would all love to hear it. and unfortant to say but there were some kids at the school who did not take it serius, but i feel that by him making an apperiance it would help so much! i was trully inspired today! thank you!
love always,
Elizabeth Knight
